Tractor trailer crash causes delays on outer loop of Beltway in Greenbelt



A crash involving a tractor trailer is causing delays Wednesday morning on the outer loop of the Capital Beltway in Greenbelt.

Maryland State Police said no lanes on the Beltway have been closed because of the incident but that traffic in the area is slow. The exit ramp from northbound Kenilworth Avenue to the Beltway is blocked because of the incident.

It is not known when the ramp will reopen. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.

The incident occurred about 3 a.m. Wednesday. It was not immediately known the condition of those involved in the crash.
