Metro said normal service has resumed on the Orange and Blue lines after earlier issues at L’Enfant Plaza.

Normal service has resumed on Metro’s Red, Blue and Orange lines after earlier problems. But riders on the Orange and Blue lines should expect residual delays to Vienna and Franconia because of an earlier train malfunction at L’Enfant Plaza.

Riders on the Orange and Blue lines should expect delays Thursday morning.
The delays are in the direction of Vienna and Franconia-Springfield stations because of a signal problem at the McPherson Square stop.

Trains are no longer sharing a track on the Red Line after earlier problems, but there are continued delays for riders.
For riders, it was a frustrating commute, and they expressed it on Twitter.

Riders on Metro’s Red Line should expect delays Thursday morning.
There is a track problem outside of the Gallery Place stop. The delays are in both directions, as trains are sharing the track between Farragut North and Judiciary Square.
