The Red Line also had troubles Friday morning.

Trains were sharing a track for a brief time because of high water between Twinbrook and Grosvenor stops.

Metro advised its customers to use the Red Line instead of the Green and Yellow lines at Fort Totten and Gallery Place stops.

The reason? There are continued signal problem at Fort Totten.

The Red Line also had brief delays because of an earlier disabled train at the Wheaton stop.

The Green and Yellow lines of the Metro are delayed in both directions. There is a signal problem outside the Fort Totten station.

Metro said around 8:30 a.m. in a Twitter message that it was also experiencing a “power issue” at its Fort Totten station. Crews were on the scene, “working to resolve,” a Twitter message said.

Some of Metro’s bus routes, including the 1C, were experiencing delays because of high water in some areas. The 1C route was up to 40 minutes late.

Trains are no longer sharing a track on the Blue Line.

Metro said its Blue Line is delayed Friday morning.

Trains are sharing a track between the Morgan Boulevard and Largo stations. The problem is a disabled train at the Morgan Boulevard stop.

Metro said the delays are affecting riders in both directions.
