Update: Baltimore-Washington Parkway in Jessup reopens after police chase

Authorities said the Baltimore-Parkway lane reopened, and there are no delays in the area.

Maryland State Police closed one lane on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway in Jessup after a police chase early Wednesday.

Authorities said officers closed the lane after a six-minute car chase that began around 5:45 a.m. The chase ended near MD-32 on the parkway, and police plan to keep a lane near the scene closed while they continue their investigation.
