If you use a Maryland commuter bus to get to downtown Washington, prepare for possible delays next week due to several street closures for the U.S.–Africa Leaders Summit.

Passengers could experience delays on Wednesday, Aug. 6 on all Maryland Transit Administration commuter buses serving the District, the agency said Thursday.

Some buses will not stop at the State Department and the Office of Personnel Management because the streets around the buildings, on C Street and 20th and 21st streets NW, will be closed. And all commuter bus routes could experience delays as a result of increased traffic along and near Constitution Avenue.

The following MTA routes will see some changes:

Routes 620, 640, 650, 909 and 950:
In the morning, buses will drop-off as close to C & 21st Streets, NW as possible.
In the afternoon, buses will begin route at 23rd & I streets, NW (Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro).

Routes 902 and 904:
In the morning, buses will drop-off as close to C and 21st streets as possible.
In the afternoon, buses will begin route at 20th and  I streets, N.W.

Route 929:
During the midday service, the bus will not make stops to 18th and C streets and 18th and E streets, N.W.
No change during the morning and afternoon.

Route 995:
Bus will not stop at 18th & E Streets, NW due to closure of Constitution Ave from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
