Two D.C. streets closed Monday to prepare for Tuesday night’s Concert for Valor, which planners expect will draw hundreds of thousands to the Mall.

Closed are Fourth Street between Pennsylvania Avenue NW and C Street SW and Madison Drive NW between Third and Fourth streets. Both are scheduled to reopen by 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Most of the street closings are set to begin before Tuesday morning’s rush hour. The following are scheduled to start at 6 a.m. Tuesday and continue through the concert, scheduled to start at 7 p.m.:

  • Constitution Avenue NW between Pennsylvania Avenue NW and 18th Street NW
  • Madison Drive NW between Third and 15th streets NW
  • Jefferson Drive SW between Third and 15th streets SW
  • Independence Avenue SW between Third and 17th streets W
  • Maryland Avenue SW between Independence Avenue SW and Seventh Street SW
  • Third Street between Constitution Avenue NW and C Street SW
  • Fourth Street between Pennsylvania Avenue NW and C Street SW
  • Sixth Street NW between Pennsylvania Avenue NW and Constitution Avenue NW
  • Sixth Street SW between Independence Avenue SW and C Street SW
  • Seventh Street between Pennsylvania Avenue NW and C Street SW
  • 10th Street between Pennsylvania Avenue NW and Independence Avenue SW
  • 12th Street ramp from Interstate 395 to Pennsylvania Avenue NW
  • 14th Street between E Street NW and C Street SW
  • 15th Street between E Street NW and Maine Avenue SW
  • 17th Street between C Street NW and Independence Avenue SW
