Normal service has resumed on Metro’s Blue, Orange and Silver lines.

Metro has had back-to-back problems Wednesday morning.

The latest involves crowding and delays on the Blue, Orange and Silver lines. A train on the Orange Line had to unload passengers, creating crowding and delays in the direction of Virginia on those three lines. The transit agency said in its Twitter messages that normal service was back but plenty of riders experienced delays.

Oops. Now there’s another problem on Metro. The Orange, Blue and Silver lines are having delays because of a train problem outside the Farragut West stop.

More problems have unfolded on the Metro: There are residual delays on the Green and Yellow lines, following an earlier train problem at the L’Enfant Plaza stop. The delays are in the direction of Huntington and Branch Avenue stations.
