But Metro said trains are back to normal on the line.

Metro riders on the Red Line may experience delays. There is a train with a brake problem at the Silver Spring stop and that is causing delays in the direction of the Glenmont station.

One problem has been resolved — the entrance at 18th and I streets NW at the Farragut West stop is open. It had been closed.

Normal service is back on the Yellow and Blue lines.

Metro said there are delays for riders on the Red Line.

Passengers had to get off a train at the Twinbrook stop because of a brake problem.

There are a few troubles on Metro on Thursday morning.

Riders should expect delays on the Blue and Yellow lines. There was an earlier switch problem outside the King Street station.

And there is a problem with a gate at the Farragut West stop. The 18th and I NW streets entrance is temporarily closed, Metro said. The 17th and I streets NW entrance is open.
