Trains briefly shared a track on Metro’s Red Line on Monday evening after a brake problem stalled a train at Forest Glen.
The issue occurred about 6 p.m. The train problem led to single-tracking between Silver Spring and Forest Glen, but two-track service resumed after about 10 minutes, Dye said.
Delays continue however.
Red Line: No longer single tracking. Residual delays continue in both directions due to an earlier train malfunction at Forest Glen.
