Delays on Metro’s Red Line after train malfunction at Fort Totten

Metro says service is back to normal, following delays caused by a train malfunction at Ft. Totten. Glenmont-bound Red Line trains had been delayed since about 6:15 a.m.

Red Line trains were delayed Tuesday morning after a train breakdown at Fort Totten, Metro said.

About 6:15 a.m., the transit agency said to expect delays in the direction of Glenmont.

Metro said the issue was a brake malfunction.
