Trains no longer sharing a track on Metro's Red Line after a cracked rail near the Friendship Heights stop caused a morning mess

Trains are now moving, D.C. police said.

Several VRE lines are delayed Friday morning because of switch issues and a broken down freight train on the lines

You'll have a few more transit options than Monday, but if you travel by transit on Tuesday make sure if you have a good commuting plan because bus and rail operations in the region are not yet normal.

They will film on train #305 when it leaves Union Station at 3:25 p.m., its normally scheduled time.

Passengers who take the Fredericksburg Line will now have an additional morning and afternoon opportunity for travel between Spotsylvania and the District.

The station was in the planning for nearly a decade.

Northern Virginia's newest commuter rail station will open Nov. 16.

Trains will arrive up to 11 minutes behind schedule.
