(Associated Press)

The son of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling was found dead of a possible drug overdose Tuesday night in Malibu.

Lt. Larry Dietz of the Los Angeles County coroner’s office told the Associated Press that the body of the 32-year-old Sterling was found shortly after 11:30 p.m. (PST) Tuesday at a home on Pacific Coast Highway.

The death is being investigated as a possible drug overdose, pending toxicology and autopsy results.

The Clippers and Sterling, who bought the team in 1981 for $13 million, had not immediately commented on the news.
