The Seattle Seahawks extended their postseason run with a victory over the Washington Redskins, but they are likely to have to go forward without defensive end Chris Clemons, their top pass rusher.

Clemons suffered a knee injury that, the NFL Network reports, is believed to be a torn anterior cruciate ligament and his agent pointed to the “crappy” condition of FedEx Field as the cause of the injury.

“It’s a shame,” Donal Henderson told Ian Rapoport of “He’s worked so hard to get there.

Clemons led the Seahawks, who play the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, with 11.5 sacks and had 40 tackles, with three forced fumbles. Clemons will be examined further today, but Henderson described Clemons’s knee as “loose.”
