Florida Gulf Coast? Florida Dunk Coast is more like it.

Where is Florida Gulf Coast?

Technically, it’s on the beach…literally on the beach at a lake in Fort Myers, not far from the Gulf of Mexico. But after a powerful dunk that took what little air was left out of Georgetown’s lungs late in the Eagles’ 78-68 victory, maybe they are from Dunk City after all.

The Eagles, in their sixth year of competition, came into the tournament a 15-seed, eligible for the tournament for only the second year. And if it wasn’t Eddie Murray slamming the ball home, it was Chase Fieler.
