Jim Boeheim is asked about the “r” word. Again.

Jim Boeheim is 68 years old, but he reiterated in Jim Rome’s interview with the Final Four coaches that he isn’t going to retire as Syracuse coach, whether the Orange lose tonight to Michigan or advance to Monday’s championship game.

“Why would you leave when you’re on top? Why do that?” he said with a laugh. “You leave when you can’t win. You don’t leave when you’re winning. You know, a guy hits .400, he doesn’t retire if he’s 100 years old.”

Besides, if he retired, he’d have to go to Disney World.
