When it came time for wide receiver Derek Kief to reveal just where he’d play college ball, he let his baby sister and Lynyrd Skynyrd deliver the message in a YouTube video that has been viewed over 72,000 times.

Surrounded by family and friends, Kief cradled baby sister Zoey, then turned her to reveal that she was wearing an Alabama shirt. Awwww…

Kief, a 2014 prospect who plays for Cincinnati’s LaSalle High School, chose ‘Bama over Ohio State and Kentucky. As a junior, the 6-5, 197-pound player caught 65 passes for 907 yards and nine touchdowns.

“When I saw the campus, it was absolutely beautiful,” Kief told “I was kind of getting tired with cold weather.”
