Aaron Hernandez’s appeal on bail ruling to be heard today

A hearing on the matter of bail for Aaron Hernandez has been scheduled for this afternoon in Fall River (Mass.) Superior Court.

Hernandez, who was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd on Wednesday, was ordered to be held without bail in Bristol County Jail, a decision his lawyers said they would appeal. They contend that Hernandez is not a flight risk because he has a fiancee and baby daughter in the area.
