Don’t hold your breath waiting for a follow-up to “Football on Your Phone,” the DirecTV ditty starring Peyton and Eli Manning.

“I think I will stay with my day job and keep playing football for long as possible,” Eli Manning told reporters. “A one-and-done. A one-hit wonder probably.”

It does have a certain sticky quality as, the New York Giants discovered.

“[There have been] a few guys going to the cafeteria line and they don’t even know I am behind them and they are humming the song or the words,” Manning said.  “I say, ‘I think it’s got you.’ That song gets stuck in your head all day. They are kind of just going around singing the song every once in a while.”

It’s got us all. Nearly 5 million people have watched it since it dropped Tuesday.
