The training camp toll keeps rising. Today, New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle left practice on a cart after landing awkwardly during a one-on-one drill.
The nature and extent of his injury was not immediately known. Although he did not seem to be in pain, he did require help as he walked off the field and was expected to have an MRI on his ankle.

Coach Tom Coughlin will offer an update after practice and perhaps Rolle and the Giants will, like Jamaal Charles and the Kansas City Chiefs, luck out today. There’ve already been too many training camp injuries in the NFL, although , when the Giants lose players early, it usually bodes well for their Super Bowl prospects.
