Michael Jordan dunks at 50 (video)

Michael Jordan turned 50 earlier this year — you might have read about that or saw something fleeting about it on ESPN.

Over the weekend, he showed that, even though he’s 50 and more concerned with the Charlotte Hornet/Bobcats, he can still do that dunk thing he used to do so well.

He proved it at his annual Michael Jordan Flight School camp at the University of California-Santa Barbara.

It may not have been the kind of tongue-wagging, windmill style blast from the Air Jordan days and, frankly, the kid wasn’t offering much in the way of defense, but a dunk is  a dunk is a dunk.

Maybe it was the shoes after all?
