Kobe Bryant jumps off a 40-foot high dive (video)

Kobe Bryant is doing just fine, thank you very much. (Kin Cheung / AP)

Kobe Bryant has to be feeling pretty good, Achilles-wise, these days. Otherwise, why take a dip and a dive off a board that’s 40 feet above a pool?

Bryant, who tore his Achilles in April and recently was seen running on an anti-gravity treadmill, posted Vine video of the jump Thursday night. Just because he’s now experimenting with Vine.

Looks like Black Mambe/Vino is making a remarkable recovery from what used to be a devastating injury.
