This time, it was Sam Woods’s turn to hang out with Dad at a golf tournament.
Tiger Woods’s 6-year-old daughter joined him Monday at the Deutsche Bank Open for golf’s version of “Who Wore It Better?” Woods was in his customary red shirt and black pants for the final round of the tournament Monday and Sam Woods was in a red shirt and black skirt. It was so cute that it overshadowed one of Woods’s worst putting performances of the year. He finished in a tie for his worst finish of the year (65th at the Memorial).
Woods has been increasingly open about his personal life this year, since revealing in March that he and skier Lindsey Vonn are an item. Earlier this summer, Woods’s son Charlie made his TV debut wearing red after Dad won the Bridgestone Invitational.
(By the way, her given name is Sam Alexis, not Samantha. “Sam” was the nickname Woods’s father, Earl, always used for him. “He rarely ever called me Tiger. I would ask him, ‘Why don’t you ever call me Tiger?’ He says,’Well, you look more like a Sam.”)
