The new cast of “Dancing with the Stars” was revealed this morning and there’s only one representative from the world of sports.
It’s Keyshawn Johnson, the outspoken former NFL running back, so maybe that’s all the show needs. Especially, if at some point, he just shouts, “Give me the damn sparkly, disco-ball trophy thing.”
Others who will compete are former TV sitcom star Valerie Harper, “Saved by the Bell” and “Showgirls” star Elizabeth Berkley; “King of Queens” star Leah Remini; Amber Riley from “Glee;” reality stars Snooki and Jack Osbourne; Brant Daugherty from “Pretty Little Liars;” Disney star Corbin Bleu; Christina Milian, a singer and correspondent from “The Voice;” comedian Bill Engvall; and “Science Guy” Bill Nye.
The new season of “DWTS” begins Sept. 16 and, for the first time, performances and results will be combined into one two-hour program.
