In the Madison Avenue battle of Messi’s men vs. the Mannings — the world’s football vs. America’s football — who ya got?

Earlier this month, Peyton Manning and Eli Manning dropped “Football on Your Phone” for DirecTV on an unsuspecting and amused world. It’s been watched nearly 7 million times on YouTube and “your phone’s not for callin’, your phone’s for footballin'” is indelibly etched on every single one of those viewers’ brains.

There’s a challenger for the Mannings, though. This spot, with over 3 million views in just a few days, comes from Barcelona and Qatar Airways, who’ve created the mythical isle of FC Barcelona and damned if you’re not going to want to go to there, even though it’s a place where flower pots are pushed from lofty windows by killer kitties.
