MMA fighter quits match, jumps fence and runs (video)

Claudinei Angelo may have quit in his MMA cage match with Elivasio Silva, but he scored off the charts in style points.

He managed in one gesture to combine “no mas” with a move straight out of the playbook of Steven “Get two beers and jump” Slater, the JetBlue flight attendant who quit so spectacularly a couple of years ago.

Angelo, angry that referee Flavio Almendra wouldn’t stop the fight when he spat out his mouthpiece (which had fallen out two times previously), paced angrily. Then he jumped the fence in the Oct. 5 JF Fight Evolution match and ran off into the Juiz de Fora, Brazil, night.

We miss him already.
