In the history of all the great things Tom Brady has done on a football field, his game-winning touchdown pass to Kenbrell Thompkins as time expired Sunday has to rank right up there, tucked just behind Super Bowls and AFC championship games.
But only this one had “unicorns.” And “show ponies.” And “where’s the beef?”
All three of those somehow found their way into the play call by New England Patriots broadcaster Scott Zolak, who rasped out, “Brady’s back! That’s your quarterback! Who left the building? Unicorns, show ponies, where’s the beef!”
It was … fabulous. And it completely overshadowed Tom Brady’s “dad sweater”…
