Jason Pierre-Paul on Cowboys-Giants: There will be blood

The NFC East may be the weakest NFL division, but it still will send one team to the playoffs, a fact not lost on Jason Pierre-Paul.

The New York Giants’ defensive lineman was fired up about the team’s next opponent a week ahead of the matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.

“We’re going to put it on them, man,” Pierre-Paul said after the Giants beat the Green Bay Packers, 27-13, for their fourth straight win. “I’m pretty sure the offense is going to get going. The defense is going to get going even more. And the special teams will contribute to it.

“It’s going to be a fight. It’s going to be a dogfight. There’s going to be a lot of blood spilled out there.”

The Cowboys (5-5) are coming off a bye. The Giants, who opened the season with a 36-31 loss in Dallas, are 4-6. The Philadelphia Eagles are in the driver’s seat at the moment, at 6-5
