It wasn’t hype when the NFC championship game between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks was promoted as a hard-hitting, physical matchup.

In the second quarter, LaMichael James of the 49ers was shaken up in a collision with Ricardo Lockette and the 49ers recovered. That was on the field.

Elsewhere, Seahawks gunner Jeremy Lane was pushed out of bounds on the play and, as he ran down the field, he was knocked down by an unidentified person standing just steps away from Coach Jim Harbaugh on the 49ers sideline. Very odd.
