Russian President Vladimir Putin, whether he intended to or not, has taken ownership of these Winter Olympics in Sochi and that means he owns every bit of the Games, something the New Yorker vividly considers on its cover this week.

Barry Blitt drew the art, entitled “Jury of his Peers.”

“Mr. Putin,” Blitt explains (via NewYorker.com) is a gift to caricaturists (but to humanity in general, not so much).”
