The Product: MetLife Insurance

The Premise: Schroeder wheels his piano out into the middle of the field and begins to play the national anthem as the rest of the Peanuts gang joins him.

The Punchline: That’s all there is to it, really.

The Verdict: The beauty of this commercial is what the Peanuts do best — simplicity. It has echoes of the scene in “A Charlie Brown Christmas” where they surround the little tree and sing “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.” It’s subtly and sweetly moving.
