Jay Z and his Roc Nation sports management company reportedly are close to landing their biggest football name: Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

Suh would join other athletes, including Victor Cruz, Geno Smith, C.C. Sabathia, Robinson Cano and Kevin Durant in the rapper’s company, according to ESPN. Suh is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is expected to get a big payday, although his career has been marked by fines, a suspension and a poll in which other players voted him the dirtiest player in the league. It is not clear whether Roc Nation would negotiate the new deal or whether Jay Z and the company would merely consult Suh.

Suh, who had 49 tackles and 5.5 sacks last season, will count $22.4 million against the Lions’ cap next season and will have a base salary of $12.55 million.
