Arizona Diamondbacks to sell $25 corn dog

Looking for the next extreme ballpark food?

The Arizona Diamondbacks have you covered, with the introduction of the D-bat Dog.

What is the D-bat Dog you ask?

It’s an 18-inch corn dog stuffed with cheese and bacon and comes with a side of fries.

All that for the price of $25.

“This is really about providing our fans with new options each year, and in the case of some of our larger items, it’s really about sharing with the family,” team president and chief executive Derrick Hall said (via ESPN). “We don’t have any expectations for the D-Bat, but we’ll look forward to seeing if it becomes popular with our fans. Every night for us is a successful night because we offer the most affordable food prices in all of baseball.”

The D-bat Dog joins a growing list of gut-busting stadium-food options, like the Baltimore Orioles’ Walk Off:

And the Texas Rangers’ $32 Murph-A-Dilla, which the Dallas Observer described as a “24-inch quesadilla, topped with beef brisket, lettuce, tomatoes and jalapenos, served on a bed of Nacho Cheese Doritos.”
