NCAA tournament: Thad Matta and Archie Miller compare ties

Exactly zero of 68 NCAA tournament games have finished and so here we are, blogging things with headlines about college basketball coaches comparing neckwear.

Here’s what you need to know: Thad Matta coaches Ohio State. Archie Miller coaches Dayton. From 2007 to 2008, Miller was an assistant coach under Matta at Ohio State. Both teams wear red. Those teams are currently playing each other in Buffalo, N.Y. Before this game, in the first round of the NCAA tournament, Miller and Matta met. Miller patted Matta on the back. They noticed their ties were similar. Possibly the same, depending on where they shop. Miller grabbed Matta’s tie and compared it to his. Someone saw this on television and recorded a Vine.

Also Miller nearly lost his gum but recovered it. Great catch. A-plus. Go sports.
