The Wake Forest men’s basketball team is not playing in the 2014 NCAA tournament and for good reason. The Demon Deacons won 17 games this season. They won 13 games last season and a baker’s dozen more the season before that. Through the years, frustrated fans have purchased “Fire Jeff Bzdelik” billboards and newspaper ads. They finally got their wish Friday, when Bzdelik announced his resignation following four seasons.

On campus, the students celebrated accordingly and the university was kind enough to keep its quad webcam up and running for everyone to see and take screenshots of the toilet paper-filled madness. Now there are folks whipping a frisbee around as the one-ply or two-ply stuff flaps in the breeze. And who says the NCAA tournament isn’t fun at Wake Forest these days?
