NCAA Tournament: Mercer celebrates upset win in style

Mercer’s upset win over Duke on Friday may have been the biggest victory in school history, but for a team making its first NCAA tournament appearance since 1985, the Bears sure celebrated like they’d been there before.

First, there was the perfectly executed Robot photobomb:

Then there was this from senior guard Kevin Canevari:

What started as a few disjointed moves with Mark Madsen-esque awkward potential evolved into a truly expert performance of the Nae Nae, a performance that — thanks to YouTube — will likely follow Canevari for the rest of his life. No word on whether “Dancing With the Stars” plans to call Canevari, whose NCAA compliance must continue at least until Sunday when Mercer takes on Tennessee.
