Minor-league baseball teams go with “Star Wars” jerseys

Clearly, the whole special minor-league uniforms thing has gotten out of hand, but who cares? There’s a team with Chewbacca uniforms again this season! And another with R2D2 jerseys!

The Toledo Mud Hens sported the look a year ago and now the Kane County Cougars, the Chicago Cubs Class A affliate, will go with the Wookie look on “Star Wars” Night(s) May 2 and Aug. 30. Their players should probably start growing beards now…
