Today in Mark Emmert: NCAA president continues tone-deaf media tour

I can’t stop saying these things. (Associated Press)

On the heels of his calamitous #AskEmmert stunt on Friday, NCAA President Mark Emmert made an appearance on Monday’s “Dan Patrick Show” and proceeded to pour gasoline on himself and his organization.

So, it’s fair to exclude the athletes who do all the work and play all the games and do all the practicing, while the schools can profit at will from their hard work? Seems legit.

Reaction, as can be expected anytime Emmert opens his mouth, was swift and brutal.

Yes, indeed, Mr. Emmert. We need another post for tomorrow.

UPDATE 2:22 P.M.

Here’s video of Emmert’s appearance.
