NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced Tuesday that Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has been banned for life from the NBA.

The Clippers released a statement that read:

“We wholeheartedly support and embrace the decision by the NBA and Commissioner Adam Silver today. Now the healing process begins.”

The team also changed its Web site to a black and white page that simply read: “WE ARE ONE.”
