Jay Z is happy, Drake stunned as Nets beat Raptors in final seconds

Sorry, Drake. (Tom Szczerbowski / USA Today)

The Toronto Raptors were bounced from the playoffs in about the toughest way possible: In Game 7. By one point.

Paul Pierce blocked Kyle Lowry’s shot in the final seconds, giving the Brooklyn Nets a 104-103 victory and a berth in the next round against the Miami Heat. It was an awful loss that quickly dissipated the fandemonium outside the arena during the game and left everyone wondering: Just how is Drake taking this? Not well. But his pain was the internet’s gain.

First, there was this from Jay Z, who ended a 10-month Twitter lapse to congratulate the Raptors.

Given the way Jay Z and the Nets trolled Drake in Brooklyn, there was no message there. Oh, no.

Everyone else was a little less subtle.

Or he can grab his Heat cap and head for Miami.
