Detroit Tigers model Zubaz because it’s apparently 1990 again

We’re not real sure what’s going on here, but there are Zubaz in the front and a flexing, half-naked Miguel Cabrera in the back.

So sure, I’ll google “detroit tigers zubaz.” And of course Friday night is Zubazpalooza IV in Detroit.

Embrace the awesomeness once again! Zubazpalooza returns to Comerica Park Friday, May 9th. …

Representatives from Zubaz will be in attendance with special giveaways including headbands, ties, bandannas and more!

In case you weren’t alive and attending sporting events in the early 1990s, Zubaz were baggy, stripey pants (as shown above) that were briefly all the rage until people realized they were wearing baggy, stripey pants. New Redskins Coach Jay Gruden once wore Zubaz on his arena-football uniform, and they’re apparently making enough of them 20 years later that the company still has “representatives” to send to Major League Baseball games.
