Watch Montreal fans throw garbage at the Boston Bruins’ Milan Lucic

A 4-0 win over the Boston Bruins wasn’t enough for fans of the Montreal Canadiens on Monday night. After the game, fans made Boston’s night worse by throwing garbage, rally towels and other debris at Milan Lucic as he exited the ice. (Lucic was involved in a few scrums during the game.) However, it’s the fan in the front row on the right who seems to get the worst of it, narrowly missing what looks like a couple of milkshakes sailing past his head.

This wasn’t the first time trash appeared in this game. Montreal fans also tossed garbage out during the last half-minute of the game when a brawl began after Montreal’s Andrei Markov appeared to spear Boston’s Zdeno Chara in the groin. The fight may have prompted the Canadiens’ official Twitter account to tweet this:

Although, who knows who this Tweet targeted …

In any case, the rivalry between these two teams will continue Wednesday when they meet for Game 7 in Boston — a feeling both Boston and Montreal are used to. No two NHL teams have played more Game 7s than them.
