NBA Commissioner Adam Silver gets his own T-shirt

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver received high praise from most corners for his handling of the Donald Sterling mess. Now he’s getting the greatest honor of all: His face on a T-shirt.

Jeff Lam, an artist and NBA fan in San Francisco, came up with the idea to put Silver’s face on a sterling silver chain and throw it on a T-shirt. He’s selling the shirts here, with all proceeds going to the Magic Johnson Foundation.

Sadly, the “100% Pure Adam Sterling Silver Necklace,” reasonably priced at $1 million (marked down from $2.5 million!), seems to be sold out.

After spending the first 17 years of his Post career writing and editing, Matt and the printed paper had an amicable divorce in 2014. He's now blogging and editing for the Early Lead and the Post's other Web-based products.
