Comedian Louis C.K. plunked down $2.49 million for a “charming summer ‘cottage'” in which Babe Ruth once summered.

Ruth’s Hamptons haunt “is known as Primrose Cottage, our spies say,” The New York Post’s Jennifer Gould Keil wrote. “The three-story Tudor-style home, built in 1901, is 4,957 square feet. It comes with six bedrooms, 3½ bathrooms and five fireplaces. It’s on two acres, with plenty of room for tennis courts and a pool.”

The comedian plans to renovate the place, pictured on the Real Deal, although it looks none the worse for the kind of wear that one can only imagine the New York Yankees slugger gave it.
