Manchester United is quickest team to reach 50 million Facebook followers

Manchester United has become the fastest sports team to reach 50 million Facebook followers, the team announced through a P.R. agency. The team launched its Facebook page in July 2010. However, Barcelona (66.3 million) and Real Madrid (63.7 million) have more Facebook followers.

Here’s a look at how Manchester United’s total number dwarfs any team from the United States.
