Two Kansas City Royals fans wore cat singlets to the game to honor the Yankees’ Derek Jeter

They look more like outfits that a couple of overzealous WWE fans might wear. Instead, the tag team in matching cat singlets showed up at Sunday’s Kansas City Royals game against the New York Yankees to bid a stylish adieu to Derek Jeter, who’s retiring at the end of the season.

In other sports-cats news, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix hasn’t even played an NFL game yet, but the Green Bay Packers’ draft pick already inspired the most-memed kitten this year. Presenting Ha Ha Kitten-Dix:

Kitten-Dix is owned by the Van Groll family of Kaukauna, Wisc., TMJ 4 reports, adding the little guy isn’t the first cat in the household to earn its name from a Packer. The family’s last cat was named Jordy after Jordy Nelson.

Now, if only the Internet could figure out how to get cats involved in the World Cup…
