Johnny Manziel, Browns agree to four-year rookie deal

(Adam Hunger / USA Today)

Johnny Manziel has done something in the most Johnny Manziel-like way possible.

With little fanfare and even less drama, Manziel signed his rookie contract. Johnny Football gets a four-year deal, with an option for a fifth, from the Cleveland Browns. It’s worth $8.247 million with a $4.32 million signing bonus. Manziel, the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner from Texas A&M, was the Browns’ No. 22 overall pick in the NFL draft last month.
