Snoop Dogg, having mastered rap, has turned his attention to footwear and has a nifty new line of Adidas cleats that beat his signature and a lion.

Snoop chose to give one of the first pairs of the custom cleats to Texas A&M, where his buddy Johnny Manziel formerly played.

“As an avid football fan, I’m excited about my cleat collab with Adidas,” Snoop said in a release by the company. “The cleats are not only made for top performance, but specially designed by me – so get ready to be suited and booted, dipped and whipped like me.”

The cleats go for $120 and will go on sale in the Los Angeles area June 27.

Ever the entrepreneur, he also has his own Los Angeles Kings-branded marijuana.

After spending most of her career in traditional print sports journalism, Cindy began blogging and tweeting, first as NFL/Redskins editor, and, since August 2010, at The Early Lead. She also is the social media editor for Sports.
