NBA draft rumors: Jabari Parker may be No. 2, but Cavs are still a mystery

With just over 24 hours to go until the NBA draft begins, there’s plenty of drama surrounding the No. 1 pick, but the No. 2 pick seems fairly certain.

At least according to Jabari Parker, the guy who says he’ll be the No. 2 pick by the Milwaukee Bucks.

Parker disputed the notion that he tanked his workout with the Cavs in order to land in Milwaukee, which is closer to his Chicago hometown.

As for the No. 1 pick, Parker’s belief would seem to mean that the Cleveland Cavaliers are inclined to take Andrew Wiggins, given that Joel Embiid’s stock has plummeted since having foot surgery last week. Although ESPN reported that owner Dan Gilbert and the front office were at odds over whom to pick, Gilbert disputed that in a tweet:

Cleveland, according to Yahoo, was hoping to send the No. 1 pick to Minnesota for Kevin Love, but he balked at re-signing with the Cavs.
