Canucks goalie Ryan Miller finds his new BFF

Ryan Miller might be new in Vancouver, but he’s already filling up his social calendar.

Miller on Tuesday signed a three-year deal with the Canucks, calling Vancouver a “great city for hockey” in his introductory press conference. You know what it’s also a great city for? Friendship. It’s a great city for friendship. Here’s Eddie Lack, Vancouver’s other goalie, proving our point:

Vancouver, of course, has a long, proud tradition of both goalie controversies and goalie bromances. Lack’s tweet was also noticed by former Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo, who was traded to Florida last season shortly after Vancouver’s outdoor game, in which Lack was given the start.

Lack, Luongo and Miller are all solid members of Hockey Twitter and worth a follow. (Miller’s dog, Puck, is also on Twitter.) We look forward to Lack and Miller’s 140-character dispatches from date night. (And this coming season.) Remember to follow Luongo’s example, guys: you can never have too many emojis.
