Is it possible for the Cleveland Browns and Johnny Football to have more swagger in their lives right now?

Yes! But only because the Browns are adding a live mascot — a dog named Swagger — to their roster.

Next season, the bullmastiff is expected to lead the Browns onto FirstEnergy Stadium field, the team’s vice president of fan experience and marketing told a radio station Sunday, according to

Cleveland in May drafted quarterback Johnny Manziel, who is basically the living embodiment of the word “swagger.”

The Denver Broncos also have a live mascot, as do the Baltimore Ravens and the Seattle Seahawks.

For reference, here’s an AP photo of British politician Geoffrey Cox and his bullmastiff at the 2011 Westminster Dog of the Year competition in London. We look forward to Manziel and Swagger recreating this photo this fall.
